FEATURES OF THE PROGRAMME

  1. Junior Maths Olympiad is the main and final contest arranged every year on the first Sunday of February.

  2. To appear for the above final contest every student studying from V to VIII Std. Will have to qualify himself or herself at first through MATHS APTITUDE TEST which will be arranged in every academic year.

  3. Students participated in MAT and having scored 60% or more will be qualified for the final JMO (Junior Maths Olympiad) from following separate Groups.

     Group I STD V and VI  (Primary Level)

     Group II STD VII and VIII (Higher Primary Level)

  4. Pattern for MAT Total 100 marks question paper, 50 questions with multiple choices of answers, select only one suitable answer and mark the concerned alphabet on the answer sheet provided. Time 2 hours. 50% questions based on fundamentals, 30% questions based on applications and 20% questions will be of high difficulty level. Medium-English or Marathi

  5. Pattern for JMO There will be questions translated in Marathi as well as in English. Number of questions will be maximum 20. All questions or puzzles will be of extreme difficulty level and application based of logical idea. Student is expected to write solution (not answer only) with logic used behind with steps in blank space provided. Total 100 marks, Time 2 hours. Medium -English or Marathi.
